Free Vocational Study Abroad in Mechanical Engineering in Germany

German mechanical engineering is an industry with a long history, having gone through ups and downs, and has established a strong foothold in the global market. When talking about German mechanical engineering, one refers to an industry that leads the way. In recent years, the shortage of skilled labor in this field in Germany has become increasingly severe, prompting the German government to implement many attractive policies to attract foreign workers.

When registering to study mechanical vocational training in Germany, students will be exempt from tuition fees 100%. In addition, they can enjoy several attractive policies, such as: receiving vocational training allowances of up to 20 million VND/month while still in school, opportunities for stable employment with salaries ranging from 50-70 million VND/month, studying in a civilized environment with modern equipment, enjoying social benefits similar to German citizens, easy visa and residence permits after 5-8 years of work, and the chance to work for large, reputable international companies.

Vocational Education Program in the Federal Republic of Germany

There are two types of vocational programs in Germany: B1 vocational education and B2 vocational education.

Admission Criteria:

  • Ages 18-28 for high school graduates, 18-30 for university graduates; priority given to applicants who already have a diploma in mechanical engineering, electronics, or related fields.

Program Content:

  • Phase 1: Take a 6-8 month German language course in Vietnam to obtain a B1 certificate and learn about German culture and lifestyle. For the B1 program, participants will continue learning German for another 6 months in Germany to achieve a B2 certificate. For the B2 program, students will study German in Vietnam for 12 months to obtain a B2 certificate.

  • Phase 2: Vocational training and paid internships in Germany for 3 years, with a vocational training allowance of 500-750 Euros per month. Students can work part-time (21 hours per week) with an hourly wage of 8-10 Euros.

  • After completing the 3-year program, graduates will receive a vocational certificate from Germany and sign a 3-year work contract with a salary ranging from 1,800 to 2,500 Euros per month, which can be renewed after each term.

Challenges of Studying in Germany:

  • Language: The grammar of the German language is complex, and its vocabulary can be a barrier. Learning to speak German fluently requires dedication and focus.

  • Exam Pressure: If you fail an exam three times, there is a high chance you will be removed from the program. If you fail the university preparatory exam, you will have to leave Germany and return home.
